Doesn't matter what people were voting on when they put these people into power, the result is still the party of abortion is now in charge.

they are recounting in montana - although they have called it for denny rehberg (very prolife). it is too close to call still for burns (very pro life) vs tester (pro killing babies)

yes, he does. he has 100% voting pro life record from NRLC

at a q & a, tester said he 'didn't believe' in partial birth abortion except to save the life of the mother. i'm sorry, since when did partially birthing a baby - a living human being - and then killing it ever save anyone??? :maddest:

The news lately is not shining nicely on pro-lifers and conservatives lately.

The loss of powerful pro-life allies in congress. Missouri's embryonic death bill passes. South Dakota abortion ban fails. Arizona marriage protection amendment fails. The morning after pill has begun to sell over the counter.

I don't think we should soft soap this. Our ideas are can't be summed up on a bumper sticker. We need to make the arguments for our causes easier to understand. We need A LOT more activism. I mean effective activism. New and fresh ideas in addition to current ones that really work.

We can't make wins on our own. We have to convince others to join our movement. Our ideas can't be just right. They have to be infectious!

Maine is dead. Reelection of a rabidly pro-death and otherwise totally inept governor. No surprise. Most of the older generations here simply hate anyone who doesn't have a huge "D" plastered in front of their name and don't look at any actual issues.

That's just a very uneducated statement (Tester's, not yours). Somehow I don't think that the difference between passing the entire baby up to the head through the birth canal and passing the entire baby including the head through the birth canal will mean the difference for life or death for the mother.

I just found out I won't know the results of VA until Nov 27. yayyyy :pinch:
[/quote]

oh thats horrible! I had to wait almost 24 hours to get our results. Disappointing but gosh, I can't imagine not knowing any more longer since I was kind of holding my breath the whole time. :ninja:

Whats the reason for waiting until Nov. 27? Ours took so long because it was the whole local county thing and everything was messing up computer wise. <_<
