MissScripture
Yeah, I just realized that. Usually university campuses have polling right on campus. Check the ND secretary of state website. http://www.nd.gov/sos/
But you sort of need to be registerd to vote in that state, don't you? Apparently in Montana (at least at some of the colleges) they get the day off for voting. One of the kids here was complaining and the teacher said, "Why? Do you need that long to read the ballot?" laudable_exchange
I'm getting ready to go now. I'm not sure who to vote for because both candidates for governor support abortion and embryonic stem-cell research. The Republican candidate supports civil unions, the Democratic candidate supports gay marriage, so I think this is going to have to be the dividing line between them. I do so reluctantly, however, because I don't want to vote for either of them. We have gay marriage in this state, though, so hopefully I can do something about it by voting for the anti-gay-marriage-but-pro-civil-unions-and-pro-abortion-and-pro-ESCR candidate as opposed to the pro-gay-marriage-and-pro-abortion-and-pro-ESCR candidate.
Ditto all that, although Healey also favors defining marriage as one man-one woman and not using taxpayer dollars for stem cell research that destroys embryos. I wasn't excited about the candidates for governor at all. I also ended up voting against my state reps since both voted to adjourn the constitutional convention to delay the vote on puting the marriage definition amendment on the ballot until after this election. On a brighter note though, we did have a couple of local candidates who are truly pro-life/pro-family, so I have a glimmer of hope for the future....other days I feel like leaving the state! Seems like very small steps.
Era Might
They're already reporting that Deval Patrick is the winner before the polls even closed. Must be a landslide.
MRSannie
In IL we had crummy choices for governor. Both are not pro-life. I voted for the lesser of two evils.. When I was 31 or so I couldn't vote---RIGHT before the election I came down with THE CHICKEN POX from my kids, and was contaigous--would have given all those ancient poll workers shingles if I had gone in there---
