Hello!

I'm writing about the upcoming "Essential Classics of Catholic Spirituality Collection". It has been put together by Prolifesearch.com, and I am an affiliate partner. That means I earn 50% of the profit earned by any sales because of me. I personally think that this collection is a wonderful source of Catholic spirituality by some of the great saints. For more information, click on the above link. The following is information from ProlifeSearch about this Collection:

ProLifeSearch.com is about to release a 10-volume collection called the Essential Classics of Catholic Spirituality. This collection includes the "heavy hitters" of Church tradition and history including Thomas a Kempis, St. Teresa of Avila, St. Frances de Sales, St. Augustine, St. Therese of Lisieux, and many others.

I'm thinking about buying one myself or for friends for Christmas because I think it is a great collection of writings by some of the greatest saints.

Has anyone signed up yet for a free preview?

I already signed up a while back because I'm on the mailing list. I plan on buying it. Depends on the price as to how many copies. I think one would be a good edition to our family's bookshelf.

My post is NOT SPAM. I am a very frequently Phatmass reader and an occasional poster. I'm going to school to become a priest and am a very faithful Catholic. It's not spam. I thought many on this forum would be interested in such an offer.

I think it's a rather neat offer myself. I think Raphael might be joking though.... :idontknow:

the spam part is because of the 50% profit earnings you get..;) as well as the fact that the link is asking for email which will undoubtably be used for a client tracking system. I know..I own a distribution biz.

Ummmm, its an E Book.

I would much prefer to have it in an actual paper book format.

Ya know... for my bookshelf.

I honestly don't know if they will be selling any physical copy of the books. I'm also hoping to purchase one. I prefer actual books for my bookshelf too.

If you sign up through that link, they will send out information this coming week and they'll be sure to let you know if an actual book will be sold along with the ebook.

I'm not trying to spam. It is true that I want to make a little profit, but I want to especially spread Catholic spirituality around Christmas time and put Christ back in Christmas. :saint: Plus, I want more people to hear about and use ProLifeSearch.

I wanted to post this from Pro-life Search. It is an email update on the Collection that I received:

Just a quick update -- ProLifeSearch has some more "freebies"
related to their Essential Classics of Catholic Spirituality. If
you haven't checked it out, you should now because there is a new,
free audio file of one of the Classics. Go to:

http://www.prolifesearch.com/spirit...ssics.html?c=35

There's only a few days left before the Essential Classics become
available, and they'll only be offered for 4 days. After that,
they might not be made available again until 2007. So don't miss
out!

In the meantime, you can watch this page as we get closer:

Above all, be sure to use Prolifesearch.com for your Internet searching since the Election wasn't a pro-life success yesterday.

I want to pass on this information I got from pro-life Search. It confirms that there will be a leather-bound, limited edition set too!

- Concern #1. . . many people are concerned that since they can access many of these classics in text format online, what's the benefit of having our collection? We answered this question here:

http://ecocs.blogspot.com/2006/10/concern-1.html

- Concern #2. . . some people are worried that since they enjoy reading physical books, they may have a hard time with the electronic versions. We addressed this concern here:
