For My Pastor

Please pray for my parish pastor, Fr. Jerry Zalonis, MIC. For a little background, he is in his late 70's and had to have spinal cord surgery about two years ago because his vertebrae were putting pressure on his spinal cord and he couldn't feel his legs. He has since walked with two canes. This past month he has been on the go constantly between Massachusetts and Illinois because of the merger between the two Marian orders, and when he came back home for a few days to do laundry he fell. Because of this fall he is in extreme pain, so much so that when he got back from the next meeting he went to he had to stay in his truck overnight because he couldn't get out for the pain. The next morning he drove to the parish and got help, so he is now in the hospital and is going to have surgery on his spine again. We don't know how well he will recover from this, so we might need a new pastor. Thank you very much.
