N/A Gone
I feel like a nub, but I think I need help to give a proper answer in a debate I have been part of for a while. http://www.realgm.com/boards/viewtopic.php...93&start=48 I have gotten to the point of being paranoid to answer something that is not the view of the church. It is driving me nuts and hurting my ability to debate. Im thinking it might be a humility thing, cause I need some pride work. But yea, i will quit whinning. Feel free to read the whole thread if you want, but the last post by "derek57" is the important one. I am still Revprodeji there. Do you want me to cut-paste it? jswranch
Be patient. Some of us work, have 3 kids, and are job hunting. : I have never seen a thread so diverse. Which post do you need help with? Go ahead and paste it.
heyyoimjohnny
It looks like from his quotations that you're doing a good job. What are you asking help for, specifically? Is it the contraception case?

phatcatholic
rev...............L_D is the person to ask about this. he's awesome w/ the theology of the body. btw, you've got some long-winded posters in that thread! everyone involved needs to work on being more succint. how are you supposed to respond to all of that? i would stick to only what is DIRECTLY on topic. Quietfire
I wish I could help, I really do. But I had to take a reality check in humility. I realize that right now, I am not ready to openly debate on such broad topics unless I am only adding to what others say. Apologetics is difficult when you are on your own on those forums, and I do not have that particular gift of taking on the whole army.................yet. I could tell you though, that you need to stick to your guns about keeping the topic on track. Dont be afraid to tell them that "that's off topic and should be discussed either in another thread or after this topic is done, but in reference to ...blah, blah" with no apologies or reference, even if you really want to respond to it, you will only be setting yourself up to take on 5,000 things at once and get overwhelmed. that's what happened to me and you end up burning out real fast. Good luck, I'll be here for moral support.

N/A Gone
revprod.... is a soul a living thing? like, in the same sense that a body is? I mean, if the soul is the life force of the body, or it exists before and after the body exists, then it can't really be destroyed by an abortion, right? I kinda pictured the soul and body, as per your description, as being disassociated before conception and after death.
-interesting argument for the "who cares" about abortion.. anyone got something quick and sexy..
