Someday I will try to call in and get on the show. I don't think any of my stories are scary enough to get on tonight, which is just as well. :ninja:

I don't know about that, nothing too dramatic, but I have ghost related pictures that would definitely get posted on the website. I'm hesitant to do that though, since they're property of the college I worked under.

I can usually tell when some stories are going to be really good, and some are just folks that ramble and don't make much sense. R2D2?

Yeah the kid at the party -- that one could have been coincidence or even a trick of the devil. It's generally an accepted thing among many people, even times I've listened on this radio show, that Ouija boards are flat out portals of evil. I was listening to an archived art bell show where someone sprinkled holy water on a sword and stabbed an ouija board with it, and the board spontaneously caught on fire.

Okay well there was a dormitory where I used to work that is allegedly haunted. Legend has it that a woman committed suicide. She had been engaged to be married to a soldier from World War I and supposedly hung herself in the attic, top floor, when she received news of his death. So generally this legend is associated with a "ghost bride" kind of thing.

Our department hired a new photographer and he was assigned by AAA to do a photoshoot about this haunted building. I was excited to work with this guy and wanted to know more about how he works so I accompanied him on a photo shoot. I was also curious to see the attic of this dorm since it was closed off to the public, it would be interesting to get access to it.

In this photo shoot we asked a girl to model for us and wear a bridal dress. I'll call our photographer "R." -- he had so many cool shots set up, it was really going to be great to see the end results. Later on R. was on the local news station and there was an article in a university publication about this, and I will say now what I said in an interview then, that I don't know what this "ghost" was, but something happened that day. We are just one of many who have stories from this building. I think our having this mock bride and staging these photos got this thing's attention that day.

During the shoot, our photographer said "wouldn't it smell of elderberries if these didn't turn out?" and he laughed and said "Don't worry, I have only had that happen once, and I was just a student 15 years ago!"

Later on, a couple of days later, R. came up to my desk and told me that the first rolls of film didn't come out. I thought he was pulling my leg. But he was absolutely right. He was completely baffled. It was as if the pictures were taken with the lens cap on, and I know I looked in his viewfinder several times and he never had the cap off.

Then he came out one last time and said that the only film that turned out has a foggy mist throughout the entire film. Of course I thought, once again, that he was pulling my leg. But lo and behold he was right. It also turns out we had some medium format film sent off to a commercial photo developer, and THOSE didn't turn out, either.

So out of two different cameras and three different kinds of film amounting to several rolls of images that were supposed to turn out, only one roll of the photos actually turned out, and it has this odd foggy stuff throughout the film, and some really strange looking slash marks that appear in random angles and directions. It is REALLY weird. It as if some kind of fog or radiating thing affected this. We attempted to find a logical explanation -- but we had none. All of the electrical power in the building was shut off at the time because the building would soon undergo renovation. No equipment/construction was being operated to cause this, and R. did not allow the film to be exposed to any kind of possible contamination of sorts.

R. contacted Kodak, where the film was from, and they had no explanation, either. AAA (Triple A) backed out of the photo shoot because it freaked them out.

Interestingly enough, R. is a Christian, and he was telling me that this incident really was somewhat puzzling for him because he didn't understand the concept that someone would possibly not be "passed on" -- it gave me the opportunity to explain to him purgatory -- so I think that's something that he's probably more open to these days. Of course it's not assumed that whatever the thing is in the building was a soul, it could have been something malevolent.

I am pretty sure I have scans of them somewhere and I will try to post them sometime. He has also never had this kind of thing happen with his film since.

BTW that attic was ice cold. I didn't think anything would come of this shoot, I just thought it would be cool to see it. But I suddenly felt spooked and made the sign of the cross before going up there because I suddenly had a weird feeling, and again it was ice cold.

After that day I avoided going into that dormitory when at all possible.

LOL... R2D2 lady...

Yeah this year the stories have been surprisingly tame.

The one where the paramedic went to Gettysburg and met the woman who lived in the house where he attended to a "suicide" years earlier and the man appears as a ghost to her son and says "she murdered me" -- OH that one was sooooo crazy!

Okay the "blood curse" guy was not the sharpest knife in the drawer and retarded when it comes to storytelling. I could tell Art was losing patience with him <_<
