BUMP as dairygirl4u2c has brought up this subject again with an artical which states:
Pope Honorious was condemned as a heretic by the Sixth Ecumenical Council (680-681 A.D.). (This means that Honorious made doctrinal statements which are contrary to the Roman Catholic faith.) He was also condemned as a heretic by Pope Leo II, as well as by every other pope until the eleventh century. So here we have "infallible" popes condemning another "infallible" pope as a heretic.
dairygirl, i encourage you to read the artical that PhatCatholic provided, it is quite informative as to the nature of this event.

duh, oops, i went on a search for a thread where this was discussed b4... and i never bothered to check where this was, just assumed it was in open mic. do you think we could move this to the debate table please? :) pretty please with a cherry on top?
