dabukthumpa
I lean heavily to the Home-Schooling side more thought. I would say on average home-schoolers know there faith better - and even practice it with more sincerity.
jasJis
There is no objective standard to measure knowledge of the Catholic Faith. There is no standard of teaching the Faith in home schoos stituations. You're trying to crack a walnut by throwing fresh marshmallows at it. cmotherofpirl
What are you a sociology major or something? You are really into polls.
dabukthumpa
yeah I like them. I am interested in where other people stand. And no - I am not a sociology major. Actually, I have my Degree in Theology from Franciscan University - and am now a High School and Jr. High Youth Minister. but I think it is a interesting question - nonetheless (my own word). No, I am not - I am just askinga question - and hoping people will vote and say what they think. No need to blow it out of proportion.
cmotherofpirl
jas is right. It depends on each particular student in each particular family etc.

dabukthumpa
no votes????
cmotherofpirl
I think it is way too general a poll.
dabukthumpa
Great. But I am still interested in what people think. You vote and then you give your reasoning.
tobk2000
i think that it depends on the school or what it's like at home. I went to catholic school, and had a nun as my religion teacher, and learned a whole lot. I was never home schooled so i don't really know what thats like, but i think that it really depends. dabukthumpa
yeah - there are some variables. Usually- most people who homeschool are very solid Catholics - from my experience those who are homeschooled really stick with there faith - and practice it with devotion and love. But you cannot escape the variables.
Lil Red
it depends on the school system. Like the Catholic school system here? Umm, no.
