Ok, here is what happened...

Dr. Ramos, so assigned a question to this kid Ryan, and Ryan asked me, "Jennifer, jfdfjkdfjkdsl whatever" Then I replied, "Ja" Then she snapped and she said, "It's not a yes or no question!" I guess it was the wrong sentence to begin a ja, and I"m thinking in English terms. BLAH.

I think it's funny to answer detailed questions with a simple yes or no...

"How was your day today?"
"Yes."

Why is everyone ripping on me here?

The answer to my question would have been yes, I find the table cheap...

Honestly, I think a lot of people are probably feeling the same as you. I know I did last year (my freshman year of college). I completely freaked out last year, because we start taking classes for our major second semester and I had no idea if I could handle my major. I think most of my friends did the same thing. We called it Freshman year crisis. I'm the planning type and I like to know exactly what's going to happen, so I ended up making up a complete alternate plan if things didn't go how I expected them to (like a different major). Maybe try talking to your parents. And try not to be too hard on yourself. Only God is perfect.
Best wishes and prayers.

I'll be praying for you. I know its rough, my soph year of college I was afraid my GPA wouldn't be high enough for the major I wanted. I talked to a couple of my professors (mainly the one who I needed to pull a good grade with to get into my major) and they were really helpful. Maybe they'll offer you some extra credit options or something. I was having the same problem you are--read everything, understood most if not all of it, but tested poorly. My prof saw and understood that and was really helpful when it came time for me to do the big assignments that counted for a huge protion of my grade.
