AlterDominicus
I need someone to make a really large wallpaper for the background of myspace with these three pictures. http://www.destinationwild.com/Images_2/swordfish.jpg http://www.pier.org/images/highly_migrator...h/swordfish.jpg http://www.tunaresearch.org/images/marlin_150.jpg Do whatever you like, fuse em, add words. Make it cool. I'd be most grateful. Its really hard to find swordfish underwater. Really it is.
Dudette
I know how to make wallpapers. I've actually made a few backgrounds for my myspace friends. I have a request already and I can certainly do yours! Though I'm afraid that those pictures are rather small. I'll see what I can do.
scardella
Can you give pixel dimensions? Does it tile? Can you show some sample myspace pages that achieve a similar effect to what you're looking for? What about the myspace page that it'd be going to? As strange as it may sound, I've more or less avoided myspace... (or let Dudette do it... I agree; they are rather small for sources.) Dudette
Generally wallpapers are all between the sizes of 800-600, 1024-769 etc. So, I made you one and I tried it on my own myspace to see how it looked and it looked really neat! here's the small version of it. Since it's so big to post the whole thing, I'll pm it to you if you don't want any changes. If you do, let me know! I won't mind. scardella
The stupid thing is that I'd probably be too worried about rotating the fish and trying to correct for the angle of light and wind up making it look worse...

The person who asks you trusts your judgement. If they want it changed they will ask you. Do you photoshop much?
Not too much. I used to play w/ the GIMP a lot, though. I don't have it on my home comp, and I don't get a whole lot of time at work. Actually, the only reason I've got it on my work comp is because it would've been thrown away otherwise... (Katrina fallout) I've found when I try to mess with some stuff (particularly things like color/light correction) that I run into too much rounding error. Of course, it's usually an attempt to salvage or clean up a messed up source image (washout, graininess, etc.) rather than playing with a good source image. I am trying to make a wallpaper for all Saints Day
This is for a simple collage (ie no fancy blending, fading or cutting) Make a blank image the size that you want. Open up an image that you want. Select all (or what you want of the picture), copy. Go to the blank image. Paste. Move the pasted layer where you want it. Resize layer if you desire. Repeat for all images that you want. Use the layer box to vertically arrange everything how you want it.
