Dudette
*raises hand* I'm homeschooled and proud of it. I'd never go to public school even if I was given a million dollars.
CrossCuT
I went to a private higschool, it was great. But now Im at a public community college. I do miss my highschool, but I think it is good to get used to different environments like this. So I can now safley say I have or am experienceing all different types of school environments. I even went to a semi-boarding school for a year.

xTrishaxLynnx
5th grade was the last grade at the private Catholic school I went to. When my Dad had to decide where to send me once I finished 5th grade he asked me where I wanted to go from there (he didn't want me to go to the area junior high and high school because of the district's reputation for low graduate rates and school violence.) I told him I wanted to be homeschooled... I think I actually begged to be homeschooled. I ended up going to junior high and high school in the same town where my elementary school was located. My Dad pursuaded me into it by saying things like "All of your friends are going there." I think that's silly because when I wanted to do something I tried it in reverse and I told him "All of my friends are doing it." and he said "I don't care what your friends are doing." But really, I don't think I would have had any less friends if I hadn't gone to public school. I'm no longer close friends with any of the people I went to school with.
