kamiller42
I was looking up some information on Susan G. Komen foundation's ties to Planned Parenthood. (Sad story for another thread.) I came across a blog entry that led me to some serious analysis of Protestant Heaven vs. Catholic Heaven. Is this accurate? Debate is now open. :
Guest T-Bone
Catholic Heaven is fun, Protestant Heaven is boring. Catholics on Earth do fun things, Protestants do boring things. Everyone is happy.

HeavenlyCalling
I saw that, very funny! Oh course, I am a part of almost all the groups they showed in Catholic Heaven, so the fact that it looked an aweful lot like some of our family reunions didn't bother me at all! : : : :

I guess in Simpson's world we all went to the hot place.... actually a heaven with Riverdance would seem more like hell after awhile...

zunshynn
I've never liked the Simpson's. I've never understood why people never seem to care about how much they mock people of faith in general. That and it's just overall a pretty stupid show. I did smile when they showed all of the Mexicans dancing and Jesus jumping up and down. That was pretty cute. Although... that's so not what I imagine Jesus sounding like, lol. Guest T-Bone
The Simpsons doesn't mock people of faith as much as others would like you to beleive. Note Flanders: He's always protrayed as a positive, kind, loving person, who, while he may be a "little hung up on" God, is never a hypocrite, and is never protrayed in a bad light.
