Guest unsure
My brother asked for an mp3 player for Christmas, and I'd like to get it for him. However, I know he doesn't see anything wrong with copying a friend's CD that he borrowed for himself, or burning his friends CDs of his, and I know that that's a sin, and one that I used to commit without even blinking an eye. He knows how I feel about that, and he said he'd just use it for his own CDs, but I'm still not sure if it would be wrong for me to give an MP3 player to him when he might use it to commit a sin. Would it be?
Carson Weber
If you have good purpose to believe your brother will use the device to sin, then yes, it is sin to give it to him. To aid another in sinning is sin itself.
