For My Sister And Her Children

Please pray for my sister and her family.

I just got back from visiting her, in her new house, because it's her birthday. It's very small, and i knew that there were room issues when it came to who slept where with her roommate and kids and such. She is estranged from her husband and has not been doing so well financially or emotionally as such. However, today while she was giving me a quick tour, the first room she showed me was her bedroom....that she is sharing with the girl i thought was just her roommate.... and she said to me "this is mine and Kim's room... we sleep together here.... she's my live in girlfriend, just to clear that up." I know she was looking for some kind of approval or acceptance, but i couldn't give it to her. I couldn't tell her that i supported her, and in fact i had to tell her that i didn't. I did it very lovingly, but she was still not happy about it.

My sister is not, and has never been, Catholic. however, upon walking into the house i noticed lots of Mary pictures and statues, and a guarian angel prayer triptec, and a St. Francis and OL of Guadalupe. So, getting excited (and before she told me about sleeping with her roommate) i asked if Kim was Catholic. My sister told me that she "had been". So please pray that this lady comes to accept Christ again in her heart and that my sister will also do the same.

Last year on her birthday (which is also the feast of our lady of the rosary) i gave her a rosary, a book on Mary, and i stuck a green scapular inside of that book. I've been praying for her daily, and with much hope, but it's very difficult to keep hopeing with my sister. But tonight i was given a spark. She told me that she had found "that green thing" that i had given her and that she had started carrying it around with her because she felt "good vibes" from it. Heaven knows, she's probably thinking that she sees an aura around it or some carp, but she's carrying it. I told her it was for healing (because it is) and i told her that since i had given it to her i had been praying for her daily. That seemed to make her feel more comfortable. I sincerely believe and trust that Mary, specifically through her Immaculate heart, has some influence in their lives. Kim even has a giant Immaculate heart BVM tattoo on her upper arm, and a sacred heart on her lower.

Anyway, please please please pray for my sister, Genevieve, her children, Emma (5.5) and Kelvin(4), and her.... roommate.... Kim and Kim's 14 year old daughter Indigo (who must be totally cofused by all this). I know they could seriously use all the prayer power possible.
