Fellow biblical-theological scholars...

A while back I asked about what Catholic CD rom is the best for study. A poster directed me to harmony media and the program "Welcome to the Catholic Church"

-now, here is my issue. I was about to order said product when I noticed they have other things that are not in said product that interest me alot

-The Early Church fathers
-St. Thomas and the Summa
-Teaching of JPII
-life of Xp
-death and res
OSV Catholic encyclopedia

Now, my education path is simple. Lots of commentaries, NAB, RSV, I only speak da english. But I do alot of work with patristics and systematic theologies. Patristics is important and so is doctrinal developments.

Does the WCC package work or do I need more? I am surprised you miltants dont have a secret cd you use. I am willin to pay phat change for it. Ask Phatcatholic. I put some money into my readings.

I think the Summa is on the CD, and the ECF's can be downloaded at CCEL.org. It should have John Paul II's encyclicals too.

I downloaded the free trial with my broadband connection, bought a key code from them online, and had the program instantly. I should have reccommended that to you.

Harmony Media - the whole company - consists of TWO guys who make little to no profit and are only in this for the love of God and the benefit of the Church. I can't believe they're not more behind than they are, especially when they are the only ones giving us with products this good.

...just something to keep in mind.

Oh, I didnt know that. I bought like 3 cd's from them. I assumed it was a more professional situation considering the cost and the 3 day shipping.

you need to start reading and not get overwhelmed. i especially find WTTCC helpful for its search features.

Overwhemling is not an issue...trying to reprogram myself is the key..;)

ask my dear older brother, I read faster than anyone you will meet. I usually get 4-6 new books a month plus my 18 credits, internship and TA...I just am a theology junkie...My problem is the battle between catholic and evangelical right now..
