For My Mom

I think a couple of you know that my mom was diagnosed with Parkinsons over the summer. This prompts me to make a few prayer requests:

1. My mom doesn't really want to leave her home of 40 years yet, but she knows that she probably should. Therefore, she and I are starting to look into other living arrangements closer to where I live-- assisted living, senior apartments, etc. My mom doesn't deal with change well, but she's cooperating and everything. It's just going to be hard for both of us to go through and dispose of her things before she can move, do the fix ups needed to sell the house etc.

2. More importantly, she's falling down a lot. She's fallen three times this week. She simply loses her ballance. I'm concerned about her, of course. It seems to be getting more frequent. And she seems to have "aged" a lot in this year.
