Guest trfr415
Would the Compendium of the CCC provide any different definition (not as clear of a definition) than the actual Catechism. Like could one survive on the Compendium of the CCC alone? Christopher

Like could one survive on the Compendium of the CCC alone? Christopher [/quote] No. Compendium simply puts the CCC into question and answer format. It is a valuable tool, but none of the teachings are changed or altered. One cannot survive on the CCCC alone; that is why it is a Compendium. It is meant as a reference to one of the pillars of the Catholic Church. Just as one cannot survive simply on the Catechism, one cannot simply survive on the Compendium. Theoketos
To echo what the Camster is saying... ...spiritual progression is a must. Stagnation is no good. We must move from Milk to Meat.
