A virus does not infect a diseased body. The virus creates a diseased body. It lives off its host, corrupting inside what was pure. The disease is symptoms of the virus' destruction. The non-medical definition says a virus is "[url="http://www.onelook.com/?w=virus&ls=a"]a harmful or corrupting agency[/url]." Your choice of "virus" seems to fit you well. Laudate_Dominum Posted September 29, 2006 Share Posted September 29, 2006 If the somewhat recent studies are correct, and the outer proteins of HIV are in fact coated with a layer of sugar molecules which allow the virus to go undetected by the immune system, I would say I've found one respect in which the Budge-HIV comparison fails.
