Guest trfr415
What does the Church say about Cosmetic Surgery? I would think the Church would deem it OK is if it for theraputic needs. Meaning a better quality of life. If it were to get it just for looks (i.e. breast implants, botox), that is when I'd think She would deem it wrong. Even though it may change the persons looks, that was a consqeuence of it being theraputic. P.S. I am not considering any, a friend asked me who's Mom is considering it. Theoketos
You are spot on. Vainity is a sin. Speaking specifically of breast implants, while excluding those done to women after they have had one removed because of cancer, they are truly contrary to the dignity of women and only encourage men to become barberous whimps.
