Girls: Perfume?

So for the longest time I only liked about two perfumes and I wouldn't wear them all the time. I really just liked the 'body splash' and would wear the fruity scents. I mostly wore Bath & Body Works stuff (Juniper Breeze, Sheer Fuscia, a few other really great smelling ones...) and occasionally I would wear Victoria Secret (the vanilla was my fav).

But the other day I visited Bath & Body Works and found this really great smelling perfume. And now I'm all about perfume. I bought body splash because I wasn't sure if I was really going to like the perfume but I do and now I can't touch the body splash. It just doesn't compare.

So I'm wondering if anyone else really enjoys perfume. For a long time it seemed like an old lady thing to do. There were so many great smelling body splashes from so many different places it seemed as though you were limiting yourself by choosing a perfume. And perfumes are so much stronger than splashes.

Anyway...

Jennie uses "Amber Romance" and "Sugar Wafer" from Bath and Body Works.

As long as I like the way it smells I don't care if its a perfume or a body splash/spray.

I tend to like oriental scents the best...

Dream Angels (Heavenly) from Victoria's Secret is definitely my favorite.. It's a vanilla oriental, but mandarin is one of it's top notes so it would probably smell sweet enough for you.
(Middle notes: waterlily, white peony, freesia, iris,
violet, poppy Low notes: white musk, sandalwood, orchid vanilla)

I also sometimes use Haiku from Avon... which is a mixture of jasmine, citrus and lilies, but you don't smell the citrus very much. Lillies are my favorite flower... probably the reason I like both of these so much. :)

If you're looking to start a collection so as not to 'limit yourself' or so you can change it up every now and then.. you might want to try Fire & Ice... you said you wore more fruity fragrances... this one has tangerine and orange flower, but it's also got mangolia that softens the scent a little. I don't usually go for fruity fragrances, but I really like this one.

It's kind of hard for me to give you a good idea of what scents work for you...These three are just my personal favorites. If you've already found one you love, stick with that. But I could still do a scent match for you if you want, just for fun. :)

I like it when my women exude the odor of fresh sawdust. Anyone else?

That's awesome  My dad is a woodturner hobbiest (is that really a word?), and so he often smells like sawdust. So, I like that smell because it reminds me of my dad :)
