the Swiss Guard are trained in the most sophisticated anti-terrorism techniques in the world. I don't know that there are ratings for who are better, the Swiss Guard, the Secret Service, or the CIA, but I am positive that they are all at least in the same league... and you haven't seen the president killed yet so I wouldn't expect the pope to be killed either.

Calm down a little, alone are some thousands of Moslems the ones that have insulted al Pope, the threats come from the terrorists, not of all the Moslems. It weights al intent of the radicals by manipulating them to all.
At least now many have opened the eyes before the Islamic danger, even the idiot of Zapatero (our Spanish president), has had that to support al Pope, to see that occurs with its "fantastic" project of the "alliance of civilizations"

Let's not forget the Pope's subject in that speech: reason, not violence, must the basis for interreligious dialogue. If we even have the mindset that we're out to "win the fight" against them and not come to a reasonable agreement on religious freedom, we're no better than the radical Muslims.
