nikkan_hanil
Did you see my old debate on the Pentacle? That may help. If you want to know more about this touchy subject of this mysterious symbol I'm the one to ask. Come my child. :rolling: Edited January 18, 2004 by nikkan_hanil
willguy
I think that, like the swastika or any other symbol, the pentacle can have differring meanings depending on who is wearing it. Personally, I would avoid using one just because of the current cultural implications.
nikkan_hanil
Yes, and thanks to many various ties with non-Christian spirituality, the Penta(insert suffix here) is a highly mysterious symbol filled with intrigue and mystery. I would go on my giant rant how this symbol was used by Christians before Satanists and many other beliefs, but I don't feel like it. Anyway, I recceomend staying the heck away from it if you can. In my opinion, the Pentacle has almost worn out it's connection to Christ unless you practically point it out to make it painfully obvious it was used by early Christians. Unfortuneately, so many kids wear the stupid thing without examing thier darned minds actually investigating what the symbol stands for (such as certain atheists wearing it, not knowing it's a potnent spirit symbol for crying out loud), that it's just confusing. Just forget about it and leave it behind... I ranted, didn't I? Yes I did... -_-;
