EcceNovaFacioOmni
I went to confession yesterday with a list of things to confess. I had never gone at this location before and was totally caught off guard when I walked in and there was no screen to kneel behind. I ended up just discussing a certain spiritual problem (sort of the root of my sins) with the priest, he absolved me, and I left. Must I confess that I made a bad confession since I never got to the list (I'm not sure they were mortal anyway...)?
cappie
If you "discussed" the root of your spiritual problems with the priest and he had judged that there was sufficent reason to absolve you and did then don't worry. Your "list" is forgiven. When you go to your normal place of confession and it still worries you then confess. In the meantime don't worry.
