Do I Need To Confess This?

almost every month, without fail, the week before my period i get extremely aroused very easily. all i can think about is sex and how much i want to have it. i try so hard to push this thought away and to not act on it (for example with masturbation) but sometimes i just can't control myself and i fail. i always feel really guilty afterwards. but i feel like it is something that is beyond my control and that i just cant control. do i need to confess this to a priest?? well obviously i need to when i fail and end up mortally sinning cuz i kno masturbation is wrong, but do i need to confess my overwhelming thoughts about sex? is this normal?? thanks for anything you can let me know. sorry for the detail but this is the only plce i can really ask it. i dont have to be face to face. and its kind of embarassing. but it drives me crazy.

I am no judge when it comes to the degree of need, but I would see this as something healthy to confess, just do not be graphic about it. Keep trying, God is giving you his grace.
