Ryan
Religion is just the inability of man to accept that we’re all alone in the universe. Just thought I’d say that. That’s all. But of course I’ll be suspended again because you don’t like me. [Edited by dUSt: Personal attack... Dude. Stop breaking the phorum guidelines and you won't get suspended. It has nothing to do with like or dislike.]

Tell me though - what of those who cling to God - not religion? Are they misconstrued as well, or perhaps is it of your personal faith to be your own god? I'm just playing with semantics because he obviously thinks atheism is not a religion but truth.
dUSt
Religion is just the inability of man to accept that we’re all alone in the universe. All alone? Out of all the billions of planets among the billions of solar systems among the billions of galaxies, you think that we are the ONLY life in the universe? Seems unlikely. Bruce S
Out of all the billions of planets among the billions of solar systems among the billions of galaxies, you think that we are the ONLY life in the universe? Grin. Nope Kolob is populated, Mormon's tell us that. And my guess is ... if they are right ... God inhabit a LOT of those planets right now. I like their version, we only get heaven, THEY get a planet, lots of wives and can become a God someday. Makes their defense of Mormonism MUCH more attractive I would say...
Paladin D
Religion is just the inability of man to accept that we’re all alone in the universe. Athiestism is just the inability of man to accept that there's a God that made the universe. Two can play that game.
hyperdulia again
Bruce. I agree. I also think if I ever become an atheist I'll be a Mormon.
Circle_Master
It would be cool to have your own planet wouldn't it. Hm... I'd make myself a castle I think
the_rev
On all in the family, the guy said, "Well at these times I thank God, that I'm an athesist" Since he is Polish, and was Catholic at one point and time, when getting married, also the family said, You are to be married in a Catholic church, so his faith must have been strong? I wonder what went wrong, since It is based on a real life story.
