homeschoolmom
If I share the Gospel message with my neighbor and she becomes a Christian and goes to heaven when she dies, have I not played a part in her salvation? While I am not her savior, I brought her to the Savior. I work with the Lord in bringing her to salvation.
stbernardLT
Read it and weep (or in my case rejoice) Colossians 4:11-13 "and Jesus, who is called Justus, who are of the circumcision, these alone are my co-workers for the Kingdom of God, and they have been a comfort to me. Epaphras sends you greetings, he is one of you, a slave of Christ. always striving for you so that you may be perfect and fully assured in all the will of God. For I can testify that he works very hard for you and for those in Laodicea and those in Hierapolis." So much for Christ doing it alone. journeyman
Was there any objection to the designation of Mary as Mother of Jesus? Is there any objection to the designation of Jesus as second person of the Trinity, God? called "Mother of Jesus" John 2:1 called "his mother" Matthew 1:18 you shall conceive Luke 1:31 which parallels prophecy in Isaiah 7:14) how does this happen to me, that the mother of my Lord should come to me? Luke 1:43 accepts God's plan (in distinct opposition to Eve the first woman) Behold, I am the handmaid of the Lord. May it be done to me according to your word. Luke 1:38 God sent his Son, born of a woman, born under the law, to ransom those under the law, so that we might receive adoption.
