I will have to look, I don't need them until Monday. I really hate poetry! I make jokes during class all the time. I have all the teachers eating out of the palm of my hand, with all my smell of elderberries up tricks! Hehehe!

I just bought a book of Catholic poetry at the flea market, what specific kind do you want.?

One of the best poets ever, who also happened to be a Jesuit priest, is Gerard Manley Hopkins, 1844-1849. Gorgeous stuff -- heartfelt, innovative rhythms, beautiful imagery.

Here's an example: God's Grandeur

my absolute favorite:

Pied Beauty

GLORY be to God for dappled things,

For skies of couple-color as a brinded cow,

For rose-moles all in stipple upon trout that swim;

Fresh-firecoal chestnut-falls, finches' wings;

Landscape plotted and pieced, fold, fallow and plough,

And all trades, their gear and tackle and trim.

All things counter, original, spare, strange,

Whatever is fickle, freckled (who knows how?)

With swift, slow; sweet, sour; adazzle, dim.

He fathers-forth whose beauty is past change;

Praise him.
