photosynthesis
one of my very good friends from college is a first year postulant with the Nashville Dominicans. She's the happiest person I know!!! She converted to Catholicism in her freshman year, and her parents are atheists who would not support her religious vocation. When she graduated in the Spring of 2003, she was 30,000 dollars in debt. She was not allowed to enter the convent until her debts were paid off...which was kind of a problem because her parents weren't willing to pay, and 30,000 is a lot of money. She prayed this 54 day Rosary Novena and on day 53, her loans were paid off by one of her priest friends!!! God is truly amesome and has blessed her so that she will be able to bless others with the beauty of her vocation.

They are too amesome and I want to enter soooo badly, but I have to wait another year because I've only been Catholic for a year and there is this thing in the constitution that you have to be catholic for two years....A year of much obedience! I met Sister Katherine this weekend! She's way groovey! She jammed her finger playing football on thursday! Those sisters take their sports seriously...hehe Sat night we got to have a little party while watching the Titans plays. Sr Mary Angela loves football! hehe Yay! FaustinaVianney
Yeah, she has glasses and short dark hair. She wasn't the loud one when I was there, it was another girl with blond hair from Texas A & M. Sista2b did you meet Sr Mary Rebekah from Texas?? She's hilarious! I love her!! I talked a while with Sr Marie Rose and Mary Sabina (isn't that a beautiful name!?). They are both first year black veils. They are great! I asked them all kinds of questions about their habits and such. hehe
sista2b
i think that wasn't the sister i was thinking of her hair wasn't real short longer than yours and it fit pretty well in a ponytail. VERY compeditive in the sports. she ran around the bases in kickball bumping the other sisters off the bases. sweety though did you meat Sr. John Catherine? its hard for me to remember all these names and its been a little while, but I remember talking to her cause i was supposed to find her for Steve, and i didn't know her religious name, and i finally found her. yay! FaustinaVianney
Yeah, the athletic one that you are thinking of isn't Sister Katherine. I don't remember her name, but she was very competitive when we were playing soccer. hehe Sr Kathine's hair is a little shorter than mine. I did meet Sr John Catherine. She said that she was going to the March. I want to go to the March!!! I hate school it takes all my money!!! I looked online last week for a plane ticket from Louisville and it was only $158, I was given $200+ for Christmas, but I have to have books for school, etc. I HATE school!! Sorry, I really don't want to be here and it's my last semester and that's sooo sad. did you meet Sr Mary Sabina?? She was the one working in the guest dining room well at least when I was there. She is just gorgeous and such a sweety! I talked to her and Sr Marie Rose for a while on Saturday night. They are too funny!
