chris
In this day in age there is no conditions, Christians are just supposed to shut up, roll with the punches and mind our own business. I dont think that a little expendibilty of civil (anti-Christian) laws would put the Church in bad light. P.S. I believe that the Church is alot stronger than society taker her for. stbernardLT
I think rescuing without violence is ok. I met a priest who had a cage welded to the bottom of a car and he loscked himself inside once the car was placed in front of the door to the abortion clinic. The cops could not move the car without hurting him therefore, it took almost all day to remove the cage. The cops sprayed him with mase, but about 30 women had to return home that day. This is kind of radical. But I can look at it from both points of view.

I'm sorry for the Christian staus of this article. But, it was the title that drew me to it. At the time I didnt really think that the status of this article would affect anyone. My apologies
Don't be sorry. I don't think, in the greater scheme of things, that the "non-Catholicness" of the article has any bearing, it doesn't make the article wrong, but it does help one see why the author argues the way he does. My conscience just keeps telling me it's bad rep for the Church and the salvation of souls.
P.S. I believe that the Church is alot stronger than society takes her for.
Bad remark, the Church isn't weakened, her image is weakened. I think she is as strong as the day she was founded, however even the Church is affected by graffiti on her walls, and her windows getting keyed. She is affected, however inadvertantly, by the portrait that is painted of her. Edited August 17, 2006 by petrus_scholasticus
