FutureSoror
A big oops on my part! for the second picture it should say LEFT to RIGHT for the names. I had to load it with blogger, and for some reason it doesn't work as well when I do that...

Thank you Sister! I hardly recognized them. They do look so beautiful! Is there any way to have your family or friends upload pictures of your entrance (and all the new sisters) after you enter? We would love to see them come the day! Blessings!

HeavenlyCalling
What names did Srs. Ruth and Mary choose? BTW, are they twins or just sisters ( by blood, I mean)
awyers
Do Dominicans specifically the SMME cut their hair when they enter the novitiate? Is the ceremony a private one or can the family attend?
FutureSoror
Sr. Ruth is Sr. Mary Regina, and Sr. Mary is Sr. Mary Gabriel. They are just blood sisters, not twins. It's quite amazing, really: two from the same family entering at the same time! I'm 99% sure that the SMME do cut thier hair for the reception of the habit, and I know that other Dominicans do as well, though I can't speak for all of them.
