brendan1104
Is Mass offered facing the people or the Tabernacle? Or does the celebrant choose? I think the Sisters there kneel for Communion, right?
the_rev
I can't wait to be ordained a priest now adn celebrate mass there for my friends entering that order!

FutureSoror
All of thier Masses that I've participated in or saw picutures of were facing the sisters/people. I think the term is 'ad populum', right? For receiving Communion the sisters bow, and then receive on the tongue with a paten.

HeavenlyCalling
Hey, I was wondering, are the sisters very traditional? Do they have the novices serve food, and do they do the kissing the floor thing? Just wondering
brendan1104
I don't know about kissing the floor, or novices serving food (although I did that, as a minor seminarian in my old community) but the Dominican SMME are very 'traditional'- as in authentic, Catholic, Dominican teaching religious. shortnun
Um, why are these pictures not on the site? Just wondering.
My hunch is that the sisters are busy with vows and so forth. First profession was just this past Tuesday. Then I think there was renewal of vows. And of course, the whole community is preparing for the postulants to enter later this month. But oh boy, I can't wait until they have the pictures up.
