aalpha1989
I just got back from Steubenville on a college visit....it was awesome. I liked it even more than Benedictine in KS....I would love to go there. The "households" sounded great, and there's daily mass three times a day...Everything seemed related to religion and God. Even at Benedictine, they seemed like 'just' another college. I loved Benedictine, but they just seem more serious about their faith at Steubenville. Anyway I loved it, and hopefully in a couple years a few of you will see me up there...
crystalblujay
woot woot! I'm gonna be there this year as a frosh. You should really go, it's an awesome school. I'm so excited, nervous, scared, ready, etc. to go! Hopefully I'll see you around in a few years! God Bless!
ilovechrist
i grew up around FUS. my parents went there. i loved the place and still do. but for some reason admissions refused to even open my application... so instead i am going Benedictine and going to Belmont Abbey down here in Charlotte. and frankly i don't regret my decision for a second =) but good luck to all of you that actually get into Steubie! zealousrap
yeah steubie is unlike ANY other Catholic College. Esteemed writer and theologian Peter Kreeft said that it is the only truly Catholic College in the United States I can't WAIT to get back into the community of faith there this fall. Plus with all the great theology better songs can be expected

Fr. Antony Maria OSB
I was at Steubie last week on a college visit, and I thought it was amazing, too! It's the first college that I have seriously looked at, so I don't know if I'll go there yet, although right now I would love to, lol! I loved the Mass there: first time I had been to one with more contemporary music, and it was amazing. There will always be a place in my heart for the piano and organ, though! May God bless and protect you always! Joe
fearundercontrol
where is it at?
Steubenville, OH. 45 minutes west of Pittsburgh, PA. And Joe, they do still use an electric (?) organ at one or two of the Masses. You just gotta find out which ones. You might like the Masses when Schola sings.
My sister goes there. I may go there in a few years. Guest rose
All I have to say is i never realized how much I took living in Steubie for granted until I left for college this weekend. I'd have gone to FU if they had anything for me to study, but I am not planning to be a starving theo/rel. ed. major. I am at another "Catholic" college, but so far, it doesnt even compare. if FU has what you want, go for it!
zunshynn
I was crushed when I found out my mom really couldn't afford to send me to Steubie. It seemed like such an awesome school. I was looking forward to having a place to really grow in my faith and really be surrounded by it. But God had something better in mind for me, and gosh it's just wonderful... And it looks like I'm gonna be pretty surrounded by my faith!
