Lil Wayne says he is a Martian. Most teen agers think he is Jesus. So I guess there must be life on other planets.

Something like scales has just fallen from my eyes. I've wondered what became of StThomasMore... :yahoo:

You did not know??
I guess it's like the time I figured out what hot stuff looked like. For a long time, I just imagined him as Beaker.

It is my opinion, which is formed in many years of experience in these issues, that LD has abruptly contracted an especially severe case of Awesomeitis. It is most likely incurable, although if he's unlucky it might go into remission.

I still imagine him as Beaker. He will always be Beaker to me. Nobody can ever take that away from me... I love you Beaker.

He's so awesome that I can't hear the music of the band and the cheering over the sound of how awesome he is.

Without a real father growing up I took Spock, Kirk and McCoy as father figures so it is fitting. I've inherited Kirk's remarkable ego and smug attitude. :smokey:

Ditto, except that life beat the ego and smug attitude out of me. :weep: and my starship Enterprise was a rusting 1953 FJ Holden. (GM) ex taxi with more mileage than a trip to Vulcan and return.

Whoa, someone bumped this thread...

So, even if God did not create life on other planets, perhaps we will. But, given that there are probably hundreds of quintillions of habitable zone planets within our Hubble volume (conservative estimate), disbelief in life outside of our planet seems like the result of philosophical or religious bias.

No plarking.
[/quote]
What is plarking? Btw, wouldn't it be epic to tour the galaxy in a starship, encountering strange new worlds, new life forms, and new civilizations? I want... :sadder:

Plus after that there would be more than 80 billion galaxies to explore in the observable universe. The actual universe may be upwards of 10^36 times larger than the observable universe and this is not even consider the possibility that one or another multiverse cosmology is true.
