Richard
Hi, I was baptised into the Catholic Church when I was a baby, but never had my first communion as a child. I have recently returned to the Church (after a LONG absence!) and attend Mass regularly now. I love Mass, but would love to participate more fully by receiving the sacrament of the Eucharist. Does anyone know if Churches run classes to prepare adults for their first communion? Thanks and God bless. Richard
cappie
I would suggest you appraoch your Parish Priest or a priest you may know and speak with them. In this parish (in Sydney Australia) people returning to the Faith or baptised Catholics who have not made their Communion, Confession & Confirmation usually go through the RCIA programme ( the official programme of the Catholic Church for converts) with other people who are adults and are seeking either Baptism or full Communion with the Catholic Church. This is not an absolute but is generally followed. :D
