Does anybody know anything about this priest? He is doing a two day parish mission at my parish and I'm just curious.

In the Lord,

Ed

It says he is well known for his EWTN series on St. Pio of Pietrelcina and on Purgatory and his healing and deliverance ministry. Fr. Clement Machado promotes healing of the whole person: body mind heart and soul thorugh intercessory prayer and the ministry of sacramentals and the sacraments particularly holy mass and confession.

He also resides in Rome to my understanding. Anybody know anything else?

I just think it sounds charsimatic. I remember going to something that said healing and people were claiming to be slained in the spirit.

There's nothing wrong with it.... But the last time I went to something like that the priest turned out to be a fraud....

I know a charismatic priest who cured a little girl of a leg disease. There are frauds out there, sure, but there are real-deal priests, too...well...what's "real" is the Holy Spirit, right?

I know of him. I suppose I spoke with him on the phone once, but it was long distance to Rome so it wasn't that long of a call.

Not sure what to say about him really..
