Does the Church have an official teaching on how many lay orders I can

I would like to join the Confraternity of Angelic Warfare as well as the third order of Carmelites. I don't even know if this is possible. Can a lay person formally join or be associated with as many lay orders as he or she wishes?

I don't think that there is anything against joining multiple groups in the church. However the thinking at least for the "Third Orders" of the various religious orders is that the person is attracted to the spirituality of the Order viz Franciscan, Dominican, Carmelite etc. While not impossible, if someone wanted to live the life of a Third Order Franciscan one would not exactly be able to live the Dominican spirituality as well.

As Regards various confraternities I think it's Ok as long as they don't contradict one another :
