Guest JeffCR07
whether you're wearing men's pants or not, what's important is whether or not you have tacos, so very tasty and good for you,
Sojourner
Nope, no tacos, so very tasty and good for you,. Not one. I had a sandwich for lunch. And grapes, carrots, goldfish, and cookies.
haha you'd be proud of me then, i'm actually wearing a skirt for a change. : Actually, to be more precise its a dress... but its one of those ones thats gathered at the top and strapless and it looks totally stupid as a dress so I bought it to wear as a skirt because it was perfect for what I was looking for in a skirt.
goldfish are good too...I'd still rather have a taco...
I'd rather have a taco too. And I don't have one. I don't even have a Taco Bell close by.
Aloysius
haha sweet anyway, yeah, so anyway I figured this by rounding acceleration due to gravity to 10 m/s^2. I was in blinding pain while doing the calculations, however, so you can double check. initial velocity was 0, complete free fall due to gravity from 14 feet in the air. it seemed like an odd coincidence that it came out to 14 mph, but i double checked it. IcePrincessKRS
dang... where did you fall from?
Aloysius
a tree. haha... it was a difficult one and I was shimmying up two trunks in the rain, then got myself distracted talking to someone on the ground without even having a backup handhold to holding myself up with just feet on the other trunk. my first ever treeclimbing fall. don't worry, I went back and DEFEATED that tree later that night... all the way to the top. MissScripture
May I ask WHY ON EARTH WERE YOU CLIMBING A TREE IN THE RAIN? p.s. Maybe you got a concussion and that's why you don't remember if it's a good or bad thing...are your pupils dialated?
Umm...why on earth did you then proceed to figure out how fast you were falling? Didn't that require calculus? *shudders* calculus! UGH! Aloysius
just a real simple physics problem. you got the acceleration, initial velocity, and distance... just plug it all in to find the time and final velocity: 14 mph.
Theoketos
I like the part about blinding pain. Seriously, Al you make me smile.

missionseeker
One time there was a British band on the radio station here and they were hanging out in the studio and they did the weather and instead of saying miles per hour they said mmfff it so funny.
