I wont be totally starved of serious catechetics.
I have a good deal of information from catechetics on our website. Look under: Catechetics -> Catechetical Articles. You can read alot about the type of catechetical education Franciscan teaches its students.
*cough*whataboutthephilosophyprofs*cough*
I don't have any taped lectures from philosophy profs. sorry. I've just received permission from Dr. Hildebrand to post lectures, but he wants to hear them first to make sure there is no content that could be misunderstood. Fides_et_Ratio
I know that some lectures have been taped in the past... don't they save them? My Metaphysics class was taped all the time.
Brother Adam
If you can get me fairly clear audiotaped lectures, I'll ask the professors. I just got another approval, so we will have at least three teachers: Dr. Hildebrand (Christology), Dr. Martin (Trinity, Ecclesiology), and Fr. Dominic Scotto (Liturgy). fearundercontrol
Oh so like once I get my tapes onto CD, I can send the lectures I've got taped to you once you get permission from the instructors?

Fides_et_Ratio
What about the taped lectures that the University does themselves... like for the distance-learning program. Would you be able to get a hold of those?
Brother Adam
Since they would probably want money for it, I would think no.
scardella
i should be obtaining the Dr. btw, kateri, i can see why his style of teaching may not suit some people. he takes a more meditative / mystical approach. certainly not systematic or thomistic. personally, i think he's a joy to listen to, its just hard to take notes. so, listening to him as a student can be a challenge, but listening to him just as someone who wants to listen and learn and appreciate the dynamic nature of Catholicism is great (which is why his lectures are great to put online).
I took him for the intro class (I'm getting fuzzy, seriously); I think it was Foundations of Catholicism. Anyway, since I had had Catholic school all my life, I really enjoyed the different approach he used. Although I would've much rathered being able to just sit there and listen rather than have to take notes.
