the_rev
Right now I'm talking to my vocations director, and I have no doubt in my mind I'm gonna be a priest. Always wanted to be, so I'm gonna fulfill the dream! (Unless I die of Colon Cancer, or a kidney stone, there not sure what it is!)

GodsGrace
well...since I've been fully active in church (youth group that is, and getting people closer to Christ.) but NEVER talking or even learning about religious life, I don't really know what order I'd go into. If there were non-habit wearing nuns, I'd be there.....I dunno, just the thought of them are making me sweat! But anyways, I'm really thinking about it. I looked at the Daughters of St. Paul and they look cool, but I want to work with the homeless.....That's my dream. So if anyone has any info...please PM me! jasJis
I'm friends with Sr. Irene. She doesn't wear a habit (unless the denim skit is a habit, ha, ha ha.) Do you want an intro??
Confessionator741
i personally love it when i see a brother or a sister wearing their haibit.... it makes me feel that there is hope for the futuer... i like the how they still wear it.... catholicteen
I personally wouldn't join an order that doesn't wear a habit. I think it's a statement to the world about who you are and what you believe in :thumb: . I mean, if there was a priest who one day decided he didn't want to ever wear his collar or vestments again, that would provoke a lot of protest  . Just like a priest wears his collar as a sign to the world of his "yes" to his vocation, so do sisters wear habits. I did get lectured once by a habit-wearing nun for putting too much emphasis on habits in my discernment, though...
EcceNovaFacioOmni
I am not sure yet. I am sure that God will tell me what to do.

track2004
I am still figuring out what I want to be, so I'm not sure, but I'm trying really hard to leave it open for God to tell me. I just hope He does soon because I'm all impatient and so many people are asking what I'm going to do with the rest of my life.... I guess I'll just have to wait it out though and do what my heart tells me to.
