WOW SISTER!!!!! It looks like it was fun!!!! I know a few of the Sisters there. The Daughters of St. Francis of Assissi. Some of their Sisters are living with the OSF Sisters in East Peoria, I am not sure why but the Sisters are very nice. They are a small order and they do have some very lively Sisters there, since they were always the loudest during dinner time at the convent!!!!!

the pics are wonderful and I am going to email a couple of the pics to the Sisters here in a minute!!!

The camp was great. This is my home Diocese ( Rockford) so it was so good to go back. It's difficult because we have very few solid religious orders in this Diocese but our Bishop is working on that. In the mean time it's great they we have a camp like this to expose young women to solid religious women who where the habit.

Thank you so much Sr.Mary Michael for your work and taking the time to chat.

In Christ,
Tracy

The Poor Clares in Rockford are wonderfully solid :) It looks like Sister Dominica gave the slide show... she is a hoot! And is that Mother Mary Regina as well? They are all so wonderful :)

Yeah the Poor Claire's were pretty cool. It is a blessing to have them in the Diocese praying it up. The slide show was neat. they said they have about 15 women writing in how are really interested.

 I think I may be one of those 15... :D: Did you meet the new Postulant? Although she isn't very new anymore... I have yet to meet her! I need to go back and make a visit sometime ^_^ I miss them. I actually ought to call or write them!

Thanks Sister for posting the pictures! It looks like it was a wonderful time!

no, We only met the two externs. It seems like a very beautiful place though. So you are looking at joining the Poor Claires? I don't know too much about them. A friend of mine was with the Poor Claires in Minnesota for about a year. She loved it but knew that's not where God was calling her.

It is lovely there :) I have been discerning with the Sisters for about 1 year now, well, over a year now. Gee, it is probably a year and a half! But, yes, God willing and with me not getting cold feet, I will be working off debts and such and hoping to enter in a year or so.
