OLAM Dad
From left to right... Sr. Mary Clare Br. David - he is the superior for the Knights of the Holy Eucharist Sr. Anastasia (formerly Sr. Natalia) Unknown visiting sister - does anybody know her or recognize the order? Sr. Lauren : A bunch of local chitlins Some local KsC Deacon Bill Steltemeier - CEO of EWTN and longtime friend of Mother Angelica. If you read Raymond Arroyo's book you know all about him. Father Joseph Some more knights but I can't recognize them. In order to add some commentary to the pictures here are some excerpts from Sr. Lauren's July letter.
The Corpus Christi procession today was so beautiful! It was all the same kids as from the May Crowning. The morning starts out the same - Externs are busy during Divine Office time pinning on veils and helping boys get their cassocks. Sr. Anastasia really has a gift for working with the kids. We had a good time. Sr. Mary Clare and I spent a few hours yesterday pulling the petals off of hundreds of roses, because for the procession the girls carry baskets of rose petals and make, literally, a carpet of petals for Jesus.

awyers
Thanks for adding that OLAM Dad! Do you know where the other externs are? I figured Sr Magdalena was in the cloister but do you know where the other professed extern is? I think you said her name was Sr Judith but I cant remember Do the cloistered nuns not participate? Sr Lauren sounds and looks so happy! Those were only some of the pictures, the ones with Sr Lauren. For those who are interested, if you go to olamshrine.com and look around especially under highlights on the main page you can see more! Less then a week until my visit!!!! Man this has been a rough week and to top it off I had a message on my phone from Sr Augustine the other day. I freaked out thinking there was a problem but she just wanted to say hi and make sure that I was ok : She laughed hysterically when I told her about my break down Anyone have any messages they want me to pass on to the sisters??? OLAM Dad
Allison, I'm leaving Saturday for Katie's entrance so I really don't need you to pass on any messages but thanks for the offer. Besides, you might feel pretty uncomfortable giving her a big hug from me. You have a good memory, the other extern is Sr. Judith Marie. I don't know where she is. Sr. Magdalena is in the cloister and, no, they don't participate in events with the public other than Mass which they view from the Mass Choir. It's too bad I won't get to see you when you visit. We'll be like ships passing in the night.
awyers
It is too bad! I was hoping to be there on the 17th but I wont be arriving until the 20th but I guess you will be gone by then If you get a chance to talk to the soon to be Sr Katie send her my best. I had hoped to touch base with her before she entered but she is one busy girl! I tried to change my flight so I could be there for when she entered but it didnt work out so I think I am meant to visit the Sisters of Reparation beforehand as planned. I would have given Sr Lauren a big bear hug from you if you wanted but you are right, I am sure she will enjoy it much more coming from you Have a fantastic time! He's Sr. Helena's blood brother and he's been with the knights for 3 months. He's very nice, but shy. And patient. He picked me up from the airport. lol The Knight to the far right is Br. Austin. He's hilarious, and he's friends with Br. Dan. And he drives really fast when he's late for Divine Office. I met that other one, but I don't know his name.
