Sister Mary Amata of the Child Jesus, O.P., a Dominican Nun of the Perpetual Rosary in Buffalo, NY went to her beloved Spouse, very late in the evening of July 4th.

Sister was a former prioress, novice mistress, organist, and artist. She was truly a living Rule and a real saint. Her two greatest Loves were our Eucharistic Lord and Our Lady.

May He, Whom she chose for her Spouse on earth, receive and take her for His own for all eternity.

I had the great grace of meeting Sister, and while I believe that she was truly one of the holiest Nuns, meriting heaven before she left this vale of tears in the Monastery's infirmary, I ask your prayers for the repose of Sister's soul and for Sister Mary Amata's large family.
