M.SIGGA
uhhh... back to the topic. I like Dr. Bill Bright too, founder of Campus Crusade for Christ. I don't know about all his campus crusaders, but I think he is an honest and good Christian man. He use to be an agnostic businessman before comming to Christ. That's about it. Bruce S
Catholics, don't believe that Bruce S is sincere in this thread. He's a snake, as slithery and treacherous as Satan was in the Garden of Eden. His most admired preacher from Calvary Chapel is extremely anti-Catholic, just as Bruce S is. He wants you to listen, hoping you'll be converted away from the Church. That is too funny for words....grin. THANKS. Bob Coy is not even close to being Anti anything, in fact, in the clip I listed, he told a few jokes about Baptists, funny ones too, of course ... You can't listen. You will instantly become a Papist Hater.....grin. Even if Bob Coy is talking about loving each other, it really is CODE LANGUAGE for hating catholics, if he is talking about being a good husband, it is CODE LANGUAGE for hating the pope, if he is talking about being good to your children....BEWARE, that too is CODE LANGUAGE for digging up the Saints. See, you are right, I'm a slithery snake, and all those plain sounding words are secret anti catholic language that ALL PROTESTS know, and we try to hide from you. You guys are really, really a hoot. Let's see here, I can listen to EWTN every day, participate on this propaganda site for week after week, have NO problem sorting out the good stuff from the bad stuff, and still stay a Protestant. BUT... If you dare listen to a middle of the road preacher, one who used to run a strip joint in Vegas, for goodness sake, before being converted, and you will be putting your SOUL in eternal danger!!? The EEEEEEVULLLLL Serpent from The Garden of Eden.... Hide the women and children...the PROTESTANTS are here!! Priceless. :rolling:

EcceNovaFacioOmni
Usually one doesn't refer to a Catholic as a "papist." Definition of papist from Dictionary.com: Papist - Offensive. Used as a disparaging term for a Roman Catholic.
Anna
Why did you even post that Katholikos? You obviously believe we have some truth as we agree 100% to the trinity, and some agree to semi-pelagianism. I am finding this thread quite interesting and your arrogance definately doesn't help the atmosphere. Please just 'butt out' so we can talk about 'favorite protestant preachers'. Who died and made Circle Master "moderator"? You've got it baaaaaaaaaaaad, Circle, really. Get a grip. Likos used to be a very well-formed protestant. So well formed that he could see through its errors. Yes, I'm sure he resents the disinformation, the misinformation, and the malformation he received lo all those years of his youth. So, he comes on strong. Luther taught his protestant followers to sin and sin boldly. So, Katholikos defends Truth boldly. Which do you find more offensive? Likos, dude, we love ya. ^_^ Pax Christi. <><
Anna
You guys are really, really a hoot. ...a middle of the road preacher, one who used to run a strip joint in Vegas, for goodness sake, before being converted, and you will be putting your SOUL in eternal danger!!? Ex porn king turned protestant preacher. So, this is where you find your "Truth." Priceless....and you say us guys are a hoot... Why would we want to listen to this man? For the yucks?!!! My goodness, we've got the VICAR OF CHRIST! Pax Christi. <><
Anna
Likos compared a man to Satan. thanks for the warning, you're a great example to us all. Jesus Christ called the man He appointed to lead His Church "Satan." Great example. Pax Christi. <><
hopeful1
ok, Bruce, this is one of the few times i will EVER agree with you on anything, but for the record i used to listen to Bob Coy on the radio sometimes, and i will admit some of his sermons are pretty funny. I didn't agree with some of the stuff he preached about the rapture ( i'm guessing Likos this is what makes him anti-catholic?) but then again you didn't agree with some of the stuff one of our guys was saying about mary, but hey, let's just call it even on that one However, i highly recommend Scott Hahn. His post conversion sermons are great too :D May the peace of Christ be with you and guide you in charity and love
mulls
Anna, its posts like those 3 that really get under my skin. you are allowed to say things like that, defend Likos for his trash, just because he is defending what you believe to be the truth. if we, on the other hand, posted things like that, we would me mercilessly chastised. "Ex porn king turned protestant preacher. So, this is where you find your "Truth." Priceless....and you say us guys are a hoot..." who are YOU to judge? you would rather than this man still be caught up in his sinful lifestyle? wasn't the apostle Paul a CHRISTIAN PERSECUTER before he met Christ? we've all been in dark places without the Lord, i don't think you would find in funny if we made light of the skeletons in your closet. please mediate on what you said and what i said, i hope you will see where i am coming from here. mulls
Anna to Circle Master in another thread: "Your tone of mocking is similar to those who challenged Jesus to prove who He was and come down off that cross." interesting you would speak of a tone of mocking and then post things such as the above. Anna
mulls, This is a Catholic message board. And over time, your posts have become increasingly anti-Catholic. Used to be that you sounded rather mournful of leaving the Church. Now you sound as though you loathe the Church and all she stands for. Most of your posts, mulls, are one-line digs against the Church, or short, curt anti-Catholic quips. Remember that Jesus Christ, the Second Person of the Trinity, the Son of God, the Word Made Flesh, came to earth, became a Man, and built THIS Church. Glad to hear the strip joint entrepeneur sought another line of work. I just don't necessarily think I need to tune in to get his version of "truth," when I can get the same Truths the Apostles preached right here at home, in the Catholic Church. I hope you understand where I'm coming from. Pax Christi. <><
