Your Favorite Protestant Preacher?

I guess you know where this is going....grin.

There are many TV preachers out there, they range from the shysters like Mike Murdock [send ME $8,000 today and God will return it 10 fold tomorrow], to the quack healers like Benny [i love my white suit] Hinn.

But there are good ones out there too.

If anyone wants to listen to the BEST of the entire lot, and I've heard about 100 different protestant preachers, and you have Real Audio installed, listen to this guy. He is young, pastors one of the top 10 largest church's in the USA, in Fort Lauderdale, he used to run a female strip club in Vegas, worked for record companies before being a preacher, FUNNY, literate, topical, and without a doubt the very best online, put him on in the background.

Bob Coy is NOT your normal preacher, he is from Calvary Chapel, but I've never heard him offer even a little hint of what they as a denomination believe. His teaching seems to be applicable to any denomination, NO bias whatsoever that I've ever heard, and I've listened to about 150 his past sermons online over the past few months.

Now, for the text people here, who amoung the Protestant preachers is worth listening to? Are there any that you think have a message worth paying attention to, or are you confining yourself to one source of information?

Let's talk about the good preachers and bad ones on TV.

I watch the old re-runs of Bishop Fulton Sheen here on Friday nights, he was a master, such a showman!

How about Protestant preachers?

What a bait and slam.

Forget it. Youre not serious or honest.

Fulton Sheen told funny jokes.

My favorite Protestant preacher is Paula White, she's heretical (even by the protestant standard), but her "can you dig it?" sermon series really helped me a while back.

Bishop Fulton Sheen was a showman AND faithful preacher: an unbeatable combination.

Have you heard Father Corapi? :D

Sheesh, I LIKE Sheen and you won't accept it, I give up.

He was a preacher for preachers, a master at the craft of the extended sermon.

The contemporary Catholic that I like the most today, is Mitchell Pacwa, and I guess I'm fibbing here too?

Just go with the flow here, there are good ones in all the denominations.

Grant me that courtesy, ok?

Even in the Apsotate Whore that builds churches out of dead people and secretly worships the goddess Ishtar under the name "Mary"?! Wow Bruce!

yes, as a matter of fact, I watch him all the time. GREAT. When he is on cross Christian themes he is wonderful. Humble, and educational.

He does a lot of "Mary stuff" there I don't agree, but that is to be expected. His shows where he goes around the world are fascinating.

He is one of the best ones on EWTN, and a gem, what a true man of God.

Beats me where YOU came up with that one, I never said ANYTHING remotely like that one. I guess I'm responsible for everything EVERYONE else might say?

Just be gracious on this thread, this is a NICE THREAD, where we talk about the good preachers out there, there are plenty of other threads where we can take the gratuitous shots....grin.

So, what TV preachers are worth listening to?
