hyperdulia again
he perverts christ's real presence into some kind of shamanistic voodooism by which we will become pseudo-divine creatures.
Circle_Master
here are some benny hinn quotes ""The Spirit tells me - Fidel Castro will die - in the 90's. Oooh my! Some will try to kill him and they will not succeed. But there will come a change in his physical health, and he will not stay in power, and Cuba will be visited of God." " ""The Lord also tells me to tell you in the mid 90's, about '94-'95, no later than that, God will destroy the homosexual community of America. [audience applauds] But He will not destroy it - with what many minds have thought Him to be, He will destroy it with fire. And many will turn and be saved, and many will rebel and be destroyed." " "If what a prophet proclaims in the name of the Lord does not take place or come true, that is a message that Lord has not spoken. That prophet has spoken presumptuously. Do not be afraid of him.” (Deuteronomy 18:20-22)" I think that is all the evidence you need to say the Holy Spirit is not working through him. inDEED
I won't defend Benny Hinn to anyone because, to be quite honest, I do not know enough about his ministry. I do know, however, that the Holy Spirit acted through him that day to offer both my father and I a brief moment of peace in his illness. No one can dispute that. I won't argue with you. This is how I feel. I will not defend him. I will only say what I have said before. Period.
hyperdulia again
inDEED, I believe what you say. You saw and felt what you saw and felt. I also happen to know that Benny Hinn teaches heresy, whether or not he's a heretic I don't know, because I haven't been granted the charism of discerning the intentions of men's hearts. I also know that I didn't get destroyed in '94/95/96/97/98/99/00/01/02/03.

Second...if the quotes that Circle presented are in fact directly from the mouth of Benny Hinn, I would agree that SOME of his teachings are indeed heresy... Third...I for one am glad you weren't engulfed in flames!
inDEED
This topic ain't gonna turn into a "Benny Hinn smells of elderberries" thread... You want to debate that, go to the Debate table... Closed.
