Moneybags
As someone aspiring to become a priest, I am praying about which seminary I should attend. I might be attending Immaculate Conception in Missouri to work for my diocese. I am also thinking about joining the Institute of Christ the King because I am a Traditionalist that is faithful to the Holy Church and the Holy Father. However, if I do join them, I would have to live as a novitiate for one year and then go to Florence, Italy to study for around 7 years. Does anyone know anything about those seminaries? What seminaries do you plan on attending?
OLAM Dad
I know nothing about them in particular but the thought of going to study in Italy for 7 years with Christ the King is awsome! Regardless of where God calls you I'm sure He'll fill you with joy and blessings. Welcome to Phatmass.

And, I need money to be able to go to a University for 8 years. Please keep me in your prayers. There is a big difference from familiar Missouri and distant Italy. magnificat
I don't know much about the seminaries but the Institute of Christ the King is pretty great from what I can tell. I've met the priest who runs the oratory where I live.

ThyWillBeDone
I am seminarian, but I do not like to give out personal information like what seminary I attend on the Phorum, but if you send me a personal message I would be glad to tell you which one and all about it. But I will tell you it not one of the ones you mentioned. God Bless

AlterDominicus
I for the sake of Sister Mary Michael (LSP) haha, and the fact that half the guys I've met or half the catholic stuff I hear about here in MN must suggest; Saint John Vianny Seminary in St. Paul, MN. http://www.vianney.net/ If anyone thinks about joining here, you'll be in for a surprise, because Sister Mary Michael loves you allllll so much that its gone as far as calling her the mother or the grandmother (possibly) of the seminarians lol.
