How can I find an exorcist

I do suspect demonic possession, but mostly on a hunch. I'm pretty sure my friend is at least being attacked incessantly by the bad guys. talk to your priest I guess, but there ain't many exorcists around. And besides, they'll want to rule out mental illness first. Also, if your friend isn't religious then I don't see what all is to be done besides praying for him.

so basically, just pray seems to be your option.

I heard an interview with a priest who had been an exorcist for 30+ years in 1997 or 98.
He mentioned that not every diocese had an exorcist, so sometimes you may have to go to a nearby diocese for an experienced exorcist.
I am sure the local bishop can appoint a priest for you.

I did just catch an article, though, about how New York does have more than one exorcist – and that there are more investigations going on in the U.S. and elsewhere by many more exorcists than in many previous years.

Why do you think your friend is possed by demons? What are the signs that lead you to this line of thought?
I don't know if you have ever watched the show, Ghost Hunters on the Sci-Fi Channel with the paranormal investigation groups TAPS. The Atlantic Paranormal Society also called TAPS has a forum.There is an area called demonoligist domain.Carl and Keith Johnson who are brothers have expeirence in this area,and one of them in fact used to be a priest I understand,not sure if it was Catholic or Episcapol ..Also the Warrens have a website and you could contact them as well for advice on your friend.Of course by all means go to your priest about it. Tell him what you think is happening with your friend. Maybe you could invite the two of them to dinner at your home
and the father can then observe your friends actions.
Also I belong to the Ghosts of Tomstone discussion forum.Both Chuck and Jerry Talbert have some expierence in this area if i recall.You might want to pop in and tell then your story.Just tell them HollyDolly sent you.

I pray this is not the case. A medical and mental check up should be done first to make sure that is not the cause of your friend's porblem. We are all praying for your friend.
