I've already read it, but I wish you good luck with it!...it's an amazing book, and I think you'll enjoy it. :)

Mateo el Feo

Great book! I'm trying get through his trilogy (Confessions, De Trinitate, and City of God). I was hoping to wait until they were turned into movies, but I'm not holding my breath! :)

Mateo el Feo

I read it last year. I'm reading De Trinitate right now.

If you'd like to chat about specific chapters, I'd enjoy "jumping in" whereever you're at, though.

Check out this satiric interview between Oprah and Augustine to discuss his book.

Justified Saint

I think I need to read the book again because I didn't have the best first impression when I read it last semester for a class. The writing seemed too constipated -- maybe it was the translation or the pace we were reading at.

In any case, it didn't do a whole lot for me the first time around.
