If you reject the Church's teaching on sexuality, you have excommunicated yourself and therefore are no longer Catholic. I know that sounds harsh, but it's just a statement of fact, and no amount of debating can change that.

Bishop Aquila is a very solid bishop; he's not shy at proclaiming the truth. I love him. I also go the Cathedral. But to get on topic, its disgusting the way the protestors treat the Eucharist. I pray that that they may have a conversion and seek reconciliation.

OLAM... I thought the same thing when I read the article. We've gotta go back to receiving on the tongue.

...I might not tackle them for wearing a "sash" and thus disagreeing with the Church's teaching on human sexuality... but diss the Eucharist (by such a careless act as breaking the Sacred Body over an open floor/grubby hands/etc), and the swords come out...
