I'd say with that many posts, she's a breakfast, lunch and supper mom!!

It is quite a transition and a welcome one. I was on dialup for four years and when i left for college my parents finally upgraded the connection. :|:

The phone company also happened to lower prices at the same time, which might have had something to do with it.

EDIT: this time I was too late. So edit to say,

Fine! I'll do it for the plane ticket! I'll bring the six-pack. It's just that it would be a little bit of a drive.

It's just a 40 minute drive for me ;)

...and I thought it was weird that my parents are the last to get everything. We still have a TV from 1984. It still looks very nice, but yeah. Haha. If it's not broken, why fix it?

hehe dont'cha love the highspeed? Ours finally got installed about a week ago, we hooked up the wireless router and I bought a wireless card for my mom. I think she likes it, and even if she doesn't, I'm in heaven not having to use her dial up!!! lol

See, my big joy is not worrying about all the busy signals people are getting while I'm on the Internet. Now, it doesn't matter... sigh. :)

Ditto. I live where there is no cable or DSL available, too.
